Woodstock Dam is located on the upper reaches of the Tugela, KwaZulu-Natal, province South Africa and is the main source of water for the Thukela-Vaal Transfer Scheme.[1]. The dam was commissioned in 1983, has a storage capacity of 373,300,000 cubic metres (1.318×1010 cu ft)[1], and a surface area of 29.129 square kilometres (11.247 sq mi), the dam wall is 49 metres (161 ft) high.
